I am so disappointed!,
I just received the window cleaner today. I am so disappointed! I have double-paned windows, and the magnet holds for a little bit, then gives out. When the outside cleaner falls (even though you have the string tied around your wrist), it inevitably hits the outside of the house, and the cleaning pad falls off! I was testing it on a first story window, but if it had been the second story window, I would have had to keep going outside to retrieve it.

I had low expectations of this product since it had one review with only one star, but I was very impressed with the results! My place has 7 single pane windows which are very difficult to reach and I needed a product like this. I liked that there is a cleaning pad on one side and squeegie on the other.
Since my windows were very dirty, I sprayed the outside of windows first, heavily sprayed pads with warm water and window cleaner, carefully align both magnetic pads (one inside and one inside) together, and then moved the pads sideways across the glass to clean. I rinsed pads and reapplied cleaner several times to achieve a ‘no streak finish’.
I recommend: watch video on youtube to see how to move the magnet on the windows (side to side), USE ON SINGLE-PANE WINDOWS ONLY, tie string to wrist, the magnets are strong – so carefully align both magnetic pads together on glass, soak pads with warm water and window cleaner to cut the grime – rinse and repeat a few times, DON’T USE ON ACRYLIC WINDOWS – they scratch, lastly to reach the corners I moved the window cleaner around the outer edges.
