there is a little clip on the top of the handle, with a semi-circle cut out of it, put your finger under it and pull it up, then the channel will slide out.

ok, i getcha. just didnt want any aspiring squeegee soldiers to get the wrong idea. about the gg3, its just my preference, primarily for the smell, believe it or not. i personally dont want to say its any better than anything else, i just like a few of its characteristics a little better than most dish soaps.(i do enjoy joy, however). god bless you for using tsp, but i always find it a little hard to work with. it is, however, irreplacable in bars and such. keep on scrubbin!

sorbie-man,but soap without water is inert, without water…no clean bean…soak pinto! Water is the most essential tool to the window cleaner, this is basic. Now to the gg3…That stuff is just designer soap, yes it works…just as well as joy ,dawn, Palmolive, ect, but for tons more ! Why pay all that cash for gg3? Senseless,I’m not slamming yoos but really ! Now the best soap to use is TSP it’s cheap it cuts the grease, cig smoke, you don’t have to put a slide agent in and it leaves a shiny glint !

sorbosux-man,This is true but I was commenting on him saying that the squeegee was the first step to getting the window clean, and the point I was trying to make was that it wasn’t but that scrubbing the glass is the first and primary step to cleaning windows, if you don’t scrub well you don’t get all the dirt saturated into the water which yoos push off with yoos squeegee. The squeegee does not clean the glass ! Soap does play a big role in cutting grease, dirt and lubricating the squeegee glide.

however, some of us dont like the ends of rubber loose. unger makes plastic end tabs for dirt cheap, and i simply love em!
