    Use newspaper, with ether water or glass cleaner.

    The main thing in getting streaks, is the rag. There will be either dirt or oil in the rag or towel. So having a clean rag, towel, or whatever you use is paramount.

    I always use a newspaper and vinegar water. It does a good job of getting film off the glass. For really hard films, you can use toothpaste to cut the film. Good luck.

    Use a good glass cleaner like Glass Plus
