Question by Twilightismylife342: Trying to sell a pick up truck, what should I put in the description?
For LA, I have to make up a catalog that sells items from a book we read. For a pickup truck, what could I put in the description to make it appealing and sound like a catalog description? For example, for a cleaning cart, I wrote, “SAVE 50%! Perfect for a cleaning lady, housemaid, or janitor. This convenient cleaning cart has compartments for a window cleaner, broom, duster and other cleaning supplies. It is fully featured to save time and effort. Cleaning supplies not included.
was $ 129.99 NOW $ 64.99

Selling motors is not the same as other stuff. When selling a motors you need to list its best features and say why its so speacial. Heres an example:
*Chevrolet Avalanche Extreme 2500 (2004)* Yours for $ 22,000
*Very rare 2500 HD model year 2004 Chevy Avalanche RWD, believed to be the only one in the USA. This model sits on the heavier chassis used by the 2500 Silverado and Hummer H2.
*The truck has all its paperwork, original bill of sale, original window sticker etc to back up it’s history and milage.
*The truck, finished in Summit White with Graphite Custom Leather bucket seat interior is in excellent condition throughout having only covered a mere 18,000 miles from new. It starts, runs and drives superbly feeling more like a luxury car than a SUV or truck.
*Power comes from a big block 8.1 litre Vortec motor not available in the regular 1500 Avalanche. Transmission is a heavy duty 4 speed auto with tow haul mode, the rear axle has the optional limited slip differential. The power and torque is amazing, the truck is super smooth and will tow anything with ease. Mechanically this truck bears little in common with the regular 1500 model Avalanche and is built for towing heavy loads across great distances in complete luxury and comfort.
*The body is one piece, unlike normal pick ups which have a seperate cab and bed. The bed can be converted from 5ft 3in to around 8ft 1in in minutes by folding down the rear seat and rear cab panel. You can also remove and safely store the rear window. There are lockable storage boxes on either side of the bed and a removable three piece hard tonneau cover which is strong enough to put a load on top of if the bed is full.
*The truck is absolutely fully loaded with virtually every option fitted in addition to all the standard features inc, power sunroof, power heated leather bucket seats, LSD, roof rack, alloy wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, front and side airbags, automatic headlamps, stainless steel exhaust, cruise control, AC and much much more
