Question by Malinda Harington: Window Cleaning Business?
My sister and I have a regular house cleaning business and are asked all the time if we clean windows. The answer has always been no. We’ve decided that we need to learn how and want to add this to our service. Does anyone have any idea where we would start as far good window cleaning tools and learning the skills.

Firstly, all window cleaners have insurance in case of accidents especially if you are cleaning outside of the windows. To make the job much easier for yourselves you would need to get a professional window wiper which takes off the soapy water without streaks and leaves them sparkling clean. Unless you want to do it the old fashioned way with a chamois leather and a bucket of water. Good luck

I think it would be a great decision to add window cleaning to your cleaning business. You can make some good extra money doing it not to mention you already have a business relationship with the people you clean for. Like the person mentioned in the other answer you do want to make sure your insurance covers window cleaning. As far as window cleaning tools, just do a web search for professional window cleaning tools and you will find several companies to buy from. You can even visit your local janitorial supply store and they can help as well.
